Our commitment
Equine Balance follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA as a baseline. The platform is built with semantic HTML, keyboard reachable interactive controls, visible focus states, sufficient text contrast, and labels for every form field.
What works today
- Keyboard navigation across every page, including the course player and the admin grader.
- Screen-reader-labelled buttons and links.
- Skip links at the top of long pages.
- The course player can be navigated lesson-by-lesson without a pointing device.
- Forms expose validation errors as text, not colour alone.
Known limitations
- Embedded YouTube and Vimeo videos render in the provider's player. The provider's controls follow their own accessibility level, not ours.
- Some long admin tables don't yet expose a "rows-per-page" announcement to screen readers; this is on the roadmap.
